Park City: Day 3

Activity no. 1: Snowmobiling

This could quite possibly be the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen in person up until this point in my life. An overwhelming feeling came over me while snowmobiling, as I was holding onto Cory(and praying we would not flip over) and watched the beautiful scenery whizzing by me. It was feeling that I had had with my friend, Landrie, in Italy, as we were coasting in a gondola through the canals of Venice. The feeling of surreality. Its that moment that you say to yourself, “oh my gosh, I am really here and seeing this first hand right now!” Everyone has seen beautiful photos of untouched, glistening snow with the towering trees all the time….mostly found as stock photos or as the samples background images that come with your computer. But in that moment, I realized that I would have the same goreous photos that I could call my own. Please enjoy! I hope you love these images as much as I do.

And hopefully they won’t be too tainted in my mind with the fact that all three of our snowmobiles got stuck at one point or another……

Activity no. 2: Bobsledding
I don’t have any photos from this, but it needed mentioning. We rode down the Olympic Bobsled Course….A once in a lifetime event that I will never forget! Cross that off my bucket list!

Activity no. 3: Exploring downtown Park City & Dinner out
I just loved the charm of the downtown area. It was much like other northern small towns I have been to and I always enjoy strolling through the shops. We enjoyed some hot sauce tasting at a small hot sauce shop. I went for a milder style; Matt, not so much…

Then we went to dinner at High West Distillery and Saloon. We had heard about this place since our very first day from several locals and were intrigued immediately. High West is a distillery for both whiskey and vodka, which many of us enjoyed in our beverages throughout the trip.
